Will this help if my child isn’t formally diagnosed with dyslexia yet?

Yes. If your child is a struggling reader and speller, this program is for you.  We teach you how to gather and interpret data so you can request the right assessments, evaluations, and supports...even before a formal diagnosis.

My child doesn’t have an IEP or an evaluation yet.  Will this program still benefit me?

Yes!  We provide evaluations and data for a sample child so you can work through the process and practice.  You will be ready to advocate and apply what you’ve learned when your child’s data becomes available.

Is this program right for me if I'm a professional who works with children with dyslexia?

Absolutely! If you are a professional with a passion for ensuring students with dyslexia get the education they need, this course is for you.

You will learn how to peel back the layers of data to reveal exactly what a child with dyslexia needs, then learn how to make sure those needs are addressed in an IEP.

What grades is this best for?

Appropriate remediation and support in school is necessary for every student from kindergarten to senior year.  We serve clients at every grade level.  If you need to advocate for your child in public school, this program is right for you~ regardless of your child’s age.

Question 5

My child has dyslexia and ADHD/anxiety/other needs—does this still apply?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In fact, most of our clients have co-occurring conditions such as these.  We teach you to use data and clear language to advocate for your child’s needs, including executive functioning, attention, and social-emotional needs.

Can you guarantee eligibility or services?

We cannot offer guarantees.  There is no way to know how a team will respond to your requests. However, by using the skills and tools in this program, you will be able to present strong, data-driven requests with an advocacy mindset.  That will allow for more productive IEP meetings that will bring your team closer to consensus.  Participants in our pilot program have shared their great results!

We’re mid-IEP cycle. Should we wait for the next cohort?

Absolutely not.  The sooner you start learning this material, the more effectively you will advocate for your child at their next meeting.  
And you will learn that you do not have to wait for the annual IEP meeting to meet with the team!
