Uncover the Problem

  • Your child is struggling in reading and spelling.

  • They are bright and capable but falling behind.

  • Could it be dyslexia?

Get Help From The School

  • You know that your child needs help in school, but aren't sure of the process to get your child the help they need.

  • You need to understand exactly how the school can help your dyslexic child.

  • You need to know how to go through the special education process to get your child the help they are entitled to.

Create An Effective Plan

  • Your child is getting special education services.

  • You need to understand the data to know if those services and accommodations are right for their needs.

  • Is your child making the progress they should be making with their current plan?

Advocate Beyond Conflict

  • You are running into roadblocks.

  • You understand the special education process and have data and rationale to show that your child needs something different than what the school is providing.

  • What are the next steps?

I had a real shift in mindset. I can do this.

In the past, I would have just shown up for meetings. Now I have the ability to be prepared.  I know how to understand the data they are showing me and the services they are proposing.  Now I can ask the right questions.

The word for this program is EMPOWERED!

You guys thought of everything! The resources are so helpful in creating a personalized plan and gave me the practice I needed to get it right.  The feedback from Lorraine and her team was extremely helpful. I feel confident about what I know and what I can ask for from the school.

I can't believe how much I've learned.

I have been working with an advocate who put a great plan in place for my child, but I learned even more about how to create a plan supported by data versus emotion.  I never knew what baseline data to get or how to progress monitor effectively.  Now I know how to continue advocating for my child on my own!

Do you ever find yourself up at night, worried that your dyslexic child is falling behind in school, but not sure how to help them?

That was my story too...

I understand what it is like to have a child with a failing educational plan.  I've been there.

If you are here, you are probably feeling the same way I did:

WORRIED that my child will be left behind by the public school system

SAD that what came easily for some children was a constant struggle for my son

FRUSTRATED that whatever help I could get didn't seem to be working

OVERWHELMED by the pain my family was experiencing because my son was struggling

ANGRY that I didn't know how to help my son learn how to read and spell

Your child's failing educational plan is wreaking havoc.

And Deep Down Inside...

You know that time spent in struggle is time wasted in not taking action.

Your hesitation to take action is affecting your

child's future.

Now the real shifts begin...

You are ready to gain the knowledge and tools to create

a successful educational plan for your child!

You can continue to lay your trust in others instead of empowering yourself.

You can try to piece together a way to help your child, instead of going with a proven framework.
