Whatever It Takes
Your child has an IEP and/or 504 Plan, but somehow it doesn’t seem to be having the impact you had expected. What else can be done to help your child learn?
First of all, know that your child is not locked into a Plan that is not delivering results. Your child’s progress is what matters. Adjustments can be made throughout the Special Education Process. You just need to know what adjustments to make—and advocate for them!
This comprehensive advocacy package is ideal for parents already engaged in the Special Education Process who are not getting the traction they need or their child deserves.
Lorraine will consult privately with you to delve into your child’s performance, plans, and progress. With her expert knowledge of dyslexia, she will advise you on what is helping and what is hindering your child’s progress.
After identifying the needed adjustments, Lorraine will provide hands-on support and in-person representation at school meetings—including dispute resolution meetings— to ensure your child receives appropriate supports and services to succeed.
Lorraine will conduct ongoing monitoring of your child’s progress toward individual goals and of the effectiveness of educational accommodations.
Weaknesses in your child’s current IEP and/or 504 Plan will be corrected to set your child on a path toward success.
Your child’s progress will improve as appropriate educational support and services are provided.
